1983 Yamaha XJ750 Midnight Maxim - Generator removal I am trying to remove the generator on my 1983 XJ750. However according to the service manual you need a clutch HOLDER, puller and adapter. I was wondering if their was another way to remove it without the specialized tools mentioned???? Many Thanks,
Hi, Gmccadden for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $0 you can download another one. For more information about your issue and valuable "FREE" downloads that you will need please click on the blue links below. Good luck and have a wonderful day.

Yes, the puller is usually sold from dealers with a part number like the other spare parts.Use caution when pulling out the flywheel not to damage it or the crankshaft.
