It does sound like it may be arcing causing snapping sounds, if bare metal is exposed it will arc and eventually cause the maghetron to fail. It is possible the magnetron is breaking down, but for safety issues it should be checked.

This is a problem in one of the damper-related components, most likely the switch, but it may also be the motor or the damper door.

The damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode. If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it will shut down the cook cycle after 58 seconds.

This is a very common problem with this model.

It is a fairly common problem. Then magnetron is what provides the heat. It can wear out. daysappliance and partselect both have them at a very reasonable price. The part comes with instructions as well. The sites both have diagrams if you need to see where it is located. But the magnetron is your problem

This is a problem in one of the damper-related components, either the switch or motor or the damper door may be binding.

The damper is a door inside that opens or closes depending on cooking mode. If the controller senses that the door is not in the right position, it will shut down the cook cycle.

Sharp models stop after 59 seconds.

See the attached sample drawing for a typical damper assembly.

The microwave would have had some booklets with it when it was sold. check them up and see who you can call. If its a reputed company then the people might come home to repair or might have a store nearby. Otherwise you ll have to look up the company on the web and contact them. Google will return any results with the company s name and kochi. Try it out

This may be due to the microwave section not working. Check the high voltage diode if it is ok, replace the Magneton.

There should be a "CUSTOM HELP" or "HELP" pad on the keypad. When you press that, "CHILD LOCK" should be the first option. The display will guide you to press 1 or 2, etc., to turn it off. We don't have an online copy of that manual, but it's part number TINSEB114MRR0 (zero on the end). You can order it via Tritronics at http:/www.wehaveparts.com

if the display does light up but it wont turn on,
Broken door switch, broken in the Open position.

But if there is no display at all (no clock, for example) then look at the power supply chain (including the fuse)

Something must have spilled into the mechanism and dried there. You'll need to access and clean it out.
