20 Most Recent UPM Indoor Electronic Programmable Plug-In Timer with Top LCD Questions & Answers

I have set these timers, and while they are tedious to work with, they do function as promised. I downloaded the manual: http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/SE11P-Manual.pdf

If you have the clock and days set properly, try programming again using the information on pages 6-8. Follow the instructions for each line and button push.

More information is needed to find manual.
ET130 timer appears to have 6 buttons with 3 buttons on each row.

Review options below:

1) Add a comment and describe timer buttons in detail so I can match buttons with known timers.

2) Open following links and check if manuals for ET525, ET420C, ET420 might have same button and programming relationship.

Timer is not identified

1) Kingsfield is Greenbrook:
Open following link to possibly identify timer and download manual:

2) If timer is not shown, then add a comment with in-focus photo of timer posted on Flicker for possible help.

3) You posted next to a photo that looks similar to timers on following link:
There are other models of this timer that I have no manual for, so add a comment with clear description and link to photo.

This line of timers has mostly disappeared from market... I do not know who is offering tech support for the product.
If you purchased the timer recently, it may be previously used or non-functioning.
The manual is complicated and incomplete ... probably because they have built-in or intuitive steps that display when you program the timer... or they assume you want to fiddle around with their product.
It appears the timer must be wired correctly prior to programming.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-timers.html

- you set the current time first... you toggle through menu choices using arrow keys... go to clock...press set.. toggle to find current day (today) and then press set button... then do the same for hour and minute... pressing set button to confirm each selection.
- to program... you toggle through menu choices using arrow keys... when 1 ON appears on display... press set... select day or days for program 1 on using arrow keys... press set... select hour and minute... and press set after each to confirm selection.
These steps confirm setting for program 1 ON ...the day hour and minute that program 1 turns ON
Each ON program requires OFF program..
Probably the timer automatically displays program 1 OFF as soon as program 1 ON is set... then you follow same steps to select day, hour and minute for program 1 off.
Repeat steps to set up to 20 programs.
Do not touch buttons for period of time, and the timer probably displays current time and is ready to go, but manual is unclear about setting the mode..

Connect the timer white wire to bare ground wire.
Open following link to read instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/programmable.html#wire

Connecting white to ground is not 100% code, but it is not dangerous in this instance since the clock motor is less than 3 watts.
Or install battery-operated Intermatic ST01C timer that does not require Neutral wire:

Nothing to do with FIXYA. Return it to where you bought it for a full refund.
