Hi, I would be happy to assist you with your issue. DISH receivers are equipped with an "Inactivity Standby" feature which will place the receiver in a standby mode if the remote is not used in specified amount of time. The receiver does allow you to set the amount of time or if you would like, you can disable the feature. This can be accessed by pressing the Menu button on the DISH remote and then select "Preferences" and then "Updates". Hi, I would be happy to assist you with your question. Prime Time Any Time is a feature of the Hopper that allows your local channels to be viewed using one tuner. It also allows for the recording of all four major networks ABC, CBS, NBC, & FOX during prime time hours using one tuner. If one TV is set to a local channel than you can press the Red Hot Key on any DISH Remote and it will display the TV Viewing Screen and all the locals will be listed. You can scroll to and select any of the locals listed and it will play on that TV. Hi, I just came across your post and I would be happy to assist you. So to intergrate your Hopper and your facebook account, You can press the Blue Hot key on your DISH remote and then scroll to & select the facebook app. Now select "Create User" and then a link and code will appear. If you follow that link on a computer, the area to enter the code should appear top link the accounts. You can Google the exact model number of your TV. One of the pages that comes up will be from the manufacturer and will contain the manual under SUPPORT or DOWNLOADS.

Did you connect to the output of a box? If so then it will usually come through your him I and doesn't require a scan. If cable set your menu setting to cable and not antenna.
