You need a program like iphonebrowser or ssh with winscp.

Go to /private/var/lib/apt/lists
and delete all the files in /root/private/var/lib/apt/lists/ except for the partial subfolder. Do not delete Partial folder. Reboot phone and restart cydia and it should work just fine.

Hi
There might be a Flex cable that disconnected in the phone, you will need to bring it to a cell phone shop or apple to have a look at it.

Try to reinstall a jailbroken version of the iPhone OS.
Do not (ever) use reset to factory if you need the device to be jailbroken to function (e.g. in case you are using an officially unsupported operator/plan)

iPhone display light problem

iPhone display light problem: My iPhones display light is no longer working. It randomly works from time to time however if I hit the home button to display my keylock it does not light up thus making it extremely difficult, if not all together impossible in the dark, to read the screen.

Has anyone else run into this?? Any known fixes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Try to factory reset the iPhone with the latest version 3.0 on iTunes and see if that helps if not then its a hardware problem and not the software issue.

I want to print out my text messages in my iphone

I want to print out my text messages in my iphone how can i do it is it possible?

Option 1.
I'm wondering if it's possible to print a text message from my iPhone? Perhaps forward it somehow to the MacBook Pro and print from there?
You can do this with Ecamm Networks' $20 PhoneView. Among PhoneView's many talents (including using your iPhone as a storage device when connected to your Mac, copying the iPhone's music, videos, and photos to your computer; and viewing and editing the iPhone's notes) you can export the phone's SMS messages as text files, which you can then print.
It's easy to use. Install it, plug in your iPhone, and PhoneView launches. To access the phone's SMS messages, just click the SMS entry on the left side of the PhoneView window. You can copy individual messages, Command-click to copy several messages (helpful when you want to copy just those messages that are part of a particular conversation), or copy all messages by selecting one message, pressing Command-A to select them all, and clicking the Copy From iPhone button at the top of the window.
Option 2.
You can take a screen shot of the page by pressing the home button and the wake/sleep button at the same time. you will see the screen flash. Then, add that pic to an email to yourself. From your home compputer, access that email, and print from your computer.
Option 3.

Transfer your text messages from iPhone to pc using Tansee iPhone Transfer SMS.

This is what I've used.

It can help you transfer all text messages on iPhone to computer in the formats of Text file format (.txt file) or ANTS file format (.ants file) .
Besides, you can choose to transfer from all contacts or a single contact. How did it work? Just great.

I give my highest recommendation to it. It even has step-by-step guide.

Option 4. here's a $5 option that pulls the texts from your backup file:

Option 5. believe iphone backup extractor (free) may let you do it.

"Check Operator Services" when sending a text

Had my phone for a few months. Phone service works fine when I'm making a call. However, yesterday, I started to get a "Check Service Operator" message every time I try to send a text message. I also cannot receive text messages. Do I need a new message center code perhaps?

most probably you have disabled the CLI thing. In which your cell tries to prevent your number being shown to the person you are calling.
It is usually under Network settings, or Call settings (CLI/Show my number/Send my Number).
