press the reset button that did the trick for mine

Creative Labs... | Answered on Aug 11, 2009

Try to reset the player and see whether it helps.
This could be done by inserting a paper clip into the reset hole and press and hold for about 20 seconds.

All the best!

Hi

Please check first the charger and the battery maybe one of this is bad and need to replace

Thanks!

Creative Labs... | Answered on Jul 08, 2009

Can you give me the specific mp3 player you have so I can tell you the correct cable? Thanks.

Creative Labs... | Answered on Jul 08, 2009

A lighning bolt through the battery in the right hand corner MEANS that the Mp3 IS CHARGING, and there should be a red light on the side that blinks every now and again, when the red light stays on that means it's done.

Go to the zen website and download their latest drives. That will give you the conversion program that you need so you can play your media files on the Zen player.

the lx model does NOT have 2 options:
1. no speaker: so the earphones should be plugged in to get sound
2. no fm tuner: no radio function

for the rest the lx model should give all the functions like the regular one
