TURN OFF THE PRINTER AND WAIT FOR 5 SECONDS AND THEN TURN ON. IF THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTS ,THEN CHECK FOR THE SCANNING LAMP , INVERTER PCB OR THE READER CONTROL PCB.

Hello,

The surest way is to go to control panel, click printer, right click on your printer and cancel the printing or remove the printer cord, remove the power cord and cartridge (optional). And try again.

Good luck.

Probably your computer has more than one network cards.
I had same problem on my main PC and I found it is not the printer itself after my investigation.
Probably the driver issue. It looks the printer driver can not get the printer status correctly if the computer has multiple network card installed.
I had VMWare installed, then VMWare installed 2 virtual network cards.
Once I uninstall VMWare, the offlince issue is gone.
Believe it or not, I'm also software engineer for other printer company so I could guess what the problem might be.
Good luck,

If you can't close the cover, that means the toner is not in properly.

Here are the steps. Can you you try them again?

After removing the old cartridge, pull the seal off the new cartridge, Insert the new cartridge so that the protrusion on the right side of the toner cartridge fits into the guide located on the right side of the machine and slide it down parallel into the guide.
Push the toner cartridge to make sure it is properly set in the machine.
Hold the grip on the right front side of the toner cover,
Close the toner cover
Lower the scanning platform
Those are the correct steps. If you can't close toner cover, do not force it to close. Open the cover and make sure the toner cartridge it properly set in the machine.
I haven't seen this quite often. You just need to remove it and follow steps closely and it will work.
Thanks
