You take the top of the motor off with the starter, then rewind the spring, then is a good idea to replace the rope with a new one they sell rope at a lawnmower store, get 5 feet or more if the rope is up on the handle, take a piece of rope with you to get the correct size.

it's never the motor, it's always the batteries.
you are most likely testing the batteries with just a meter and not under load
you will need a tool to put the battery under a load, it will end up costing more than two new batteries.
just replace the pair and you will be fine, i have done enough of these over the last few years.
good luck and you will have no problems with the new batteries.

The red and blue posts are jumpered on the right side if you are looking from the front. (There is just a wire connecting these two terminals)

The other red post has red and turquoise wires. The other blue post has white, blue and black wires going to it.
Sometimes easier to find solutions under Homelite brand. Exact same mower.

hello. the mulcher gets inserted into the opening when you lift up the door on the discharge area. it simply fits into that space and the door holds it in place. With the mulcher in place the clippings don't discharge, they simply get spun around as the blade whirls and pulverized to where they fall onto the newly cut grass beneath the mower as it moves along. Hi TVAloha,

Home Depot and Loew's both carry an extensive inventory of replacement parts.

But first check out your local Goodwill's, specifically the donation centers. The often get mowers that just don't work. Ask about a similiar one you need a few parts off of in exchange for a donation. Everybody wins.

Best regards

Mike

Try to see if there is any oil in it. Or maybe your belt is clogged. A good cleaning and maybe a change of plug may help.
