I am not currently aware of any ways to have two separate accounts under one name. My suggestion would be to open a new account in your significant others name, or in the name of a close relative that is OK with you using their personal information for this.

Otherwise, I do not know of any other way to maintain two accounts.

2.) Press and hold the "tv" button at the top right hand side of your remote until all the top buttons begin flashing red.

3.) Press the small red power button at the top of the remote one time.

4.) Slowly and repeatedly press the down key on the directional pad until your device powers off.

5.) Once the device powers down, at the bottom right hand side of the remote underneath the keypad.. press the # key.
The "tv" button will flash red three times, and then your remote is linked to the box.

When you set an event to record you will be prompted as to whether or not you'd like it to record on tuner one or two. Simply select tuner two.

Assuming that you mean to "hook up" your tv to your dish services, you mean that you'd like your remote to be capable of controlling your tv.. then here are the instructions. Otherwise provide more information.

1.) Point the remote towards the desired device you'd like to control.

2.) Press and hold the "tv" button at the top right hand side of your remote until all the top buttons begin flashing red.

3.) Press the small red power button at the top of the remote one time.

4.) Slowly and repeatedly press the down key on the directional pad until your device powers off.

You can easily buy a replacement remote from amazon for dish tv. $20 or under. You can try best buy as well. I know they carry directv remotes.
