You are referring to the wheel axle. The axle is held together to the vac sweeps base, with two bolts and nuts. What you can do, is remove the stripped one, going thru to get another new STAINLESS STEEL, bolt with a matching nut, and tighten it from the bottom. You will need to get access to the bottom, by removing bottom cover - two fasteners hold that.
Don't be intimidated, it doesn't matter what you use - a bolt or ???, you just want to secure the axle to the base. I would recommend a bolt and nut.
I added a link below, to show a diagram of the unit all taken apart.
Area of significance: Parts 13-16 The nuts, are recessed in a small Divet in the bottom of the middle bass.

Be careful, be very very careful as you pull the valve off of the standpipe within the filter tank.
you have the valve stuck to the pipe because of the sand in it and got between the valve port and the standpipe. This creates a stuck, welded to the pipe, situation! Continue twisting & pulling gently. If you pull too hard you can either break the standpipe from the lateral drain assembly, or lift the whole assembly up and then you will not be able to get the valve back into the proper position. You will then have to empty all the sand and reinstall the assembly and add new sand. Unless of course this is what you were going to do anyway, including replacing the lateral drain assembly then go for it get it out of there. But I presume you do not want to do that! So be careful as you lift the valve off the pipe..

good luck. Take a look at this picture this is very similar to what you are probably dealing with.

25481562-ljfmxq21ny5mtdwz0zq3xz55-2-0.jpg That piece in the tank, is the lateral drain assembly. It has to stay on the bottom of the tank, otherwise the standpipe sits higher because you maneuvered it up through the sand, to sit higher on the sand bed when you should be on the bottom of the plastic tank or fiberglass tank. and you will never be able to put the valve back onto the tank, and seal it without a leak.
again became full and be patient as you attempt to remove the valve off of the standpipe and good luck

You could try a magic eraser. I clean the top sides with one. Cleans body oil and dirt away. But it's probably stained

If you leave it up, drain down past flow lines. We use a tarp. It will still get dirty and green, and is hard to clean in 72* degree water. Takes a long time to warm up. Sometimes we leave it up, mostly we clean out and take down, to level yard next year.( moles, sides sinking, or damage to rusted legs. I personally would take it down. Start fresh. Mine is salt water, 9 X 18 and have had it for nine years. Good luck.

Checked pump- works, checked heater- works, checked blower- works, flow switch- work, temperature sensors both 56Ohm at 22degrees 6cf is shown when plugged in. If hold buttons and switch the power I can get the blower and water working for split second and 6cf Cuts off relays. I did not found any water detector/preventing the unit working dry ? Does it have one?? Pump, blower, and heater doesn't have any feedback To the pcb it works through relays, I think something else is throwing 6cf.
Anything else I have missed?
