Oil problem on a 1996 50 hp Honda outboard
It's a little vague . What's the problem ? Over heating , fuel in oil , water in oil? Over heating will be a water pump problem , water in your oil is a bad head gasket, fuel in oil is passing rings . Honda's are great engines but they must be broken in properly .

Honda 50 marine outboard stalls at high revs
Those systems have an injector + mechanical pump... check the fuel line to see if its getting a restriction . And the filters.. If not there check the float bowel located on the right side ( standing behind the boat looking forward. It's located under the air intake...if it isn't allowing enough fuel in you'll stall. Honda is a good engine but the engineers got lazy when they left half of the system efi and half mechanical.

2007 Honda 225 4 stroke outboard randomly misses between 2500 & 2900 rpm.
The first and easiest thing to do is replace the spark plugs and gap them. After that is it a guessing game for electrics or fuel delivery. My advice for marine engines is always professional service as the consequences of breaking down on the water are always a problem. The engine is only 10 years old so it probably has onboard diagnostics. The engineer connects it to a computer and it tells him what is wrong.
