that means your laser unit is not spinning up to speed. sometimes, you can fix by pulling laser unit and removing the polygon lens/mirror, then putting a small drop of lube on shaft and re-assembling. other times, you have to replace laser unit. thats quite expensive.

this might result from feed rollers not picking the paper. remove cassette and clean the paper feed rollers

E70 means that the last original from the feeder was not copied and should be placed on the glass and copying resumed.

To reset you device: You need to run sim U163 to reset fixing heater problems.Press and hold stop, start, and left exposure key in that order. Release andpress stop again. Use zoom keys to enter 163, press start. Exit the mode byentering 001 and start, or power off/on. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

We replaced the toner cartridge

If it is a Kyocera toner than that is the problem. The key to turn the toner is different for the Kyocera toner cart. It will fit and appear to work but won't. Also turn the unit off and unplug for 15 sec. will reset and perform boot up procedures might help.

Fixing unit thermistor installed incorrectly.

Check and reinstall if necessary.

? It takes 10 s or more for the fixing temperature to reach 100°C/212°F from 50°C/122°F.

? It takes 24 s or more for the fixing temperature to reach the secondary stabilization fixing temperature from the primary stabilization fixing temperature.

Fixing unit thermostat triggered.

Check for continuity. If none, replace the fixing unit thermostat.
