20 Most Recent Singer Tiny Tailor TT700 Questions & Answers

I too have a Tiny Tailor with missing parts. I emailed Singer directly and this is the answer I got back from them...
I would be willing to GIVE you mine if you want it...

Unfortunately this item was discontinued several years ago, and replacement parts are no longer available. For this reason, this item is not repairable. We regret that we were not able to assist you with your request.

You may want to search on EBay, where a private individual might be selling this unit. You may be able to obtain parts this way.

I"m assuming that you are asking how to reinsert the bobbin case, rather than the bobbin itself. If you don't have your user's manual, you can download it free at the Singer website. When you do, look on page 19; it has exact directions and an illustration there regarding how to reinsert the bobbin case.

It SOUNDS like your bobbin case is either not in properly, your bobbin is either not correctly wound or too loosely wound, or your bobbin is warped. You can determine if it's warped (happens over time with plastic bobbins) by rolling it down a table top. If it wobbles, it's warped and needs replacing. They cheap to replace; I took a look and visually it appears that it's a Class 15 bobbin. I would also consult my user's manual; there is a troubleshooting section on the last page. If you don't have it, you can download it free at the Singer Sewing Machine site.

You will need a parts list, and unfortunately, the Singer site doesn't list one. However, I would point out that there are two machines complete on eBay right now for $20.00.

However, there IS an alternative. Many experienced sewers don't use the spool pin anyway--we put the thread in a cup in the back of the machine and feed it in from there.

If it happens when you first insert a bobbin, meaning you can't bring the bobbin thread to the top, it GENERALLY means that your hook timing is off. It could also mean, though, that you needle is not all the way up in the needle clamp, so check that first. If the timing is off, you will need to have it serviced by a technician.

Don't bother... they don't last long enough to make the expense worth it.

That machine is a toy that sews (maybe), It is not a small sewing machine. You cannot get parts for it.

I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific; I have no idea what problem you're actually having.
