I own a few Windsors and I believe those pulleys are threaded on in reverse. Unfortunately there's nothing to grab hold of on the other end while turning the pulley with a pair of pliers. When servicing Hako machines I normally remove the armature from the motor and grab it with a towel while turning the pulley off. Give that a try, if no luck I'll get into one of my Windors and see how its configured.

If you whistling is only happening when pulling back on the machine, the problem is with the connection between the bag housing and the swivel neck. There is a rubber gasket between the two, located on the bottom of the bag housing. Check to see if this seal is in place. If it is there and in good shape, check for excessive wear on either the swivel neck or bag housing. Windsor Sensor Vacuum Seal 5163 86144910 allstar javelin

You should be able to take off the jet nozzles and clean them out. You may need a socket wrench possibly to get them out or they may be a quick connect kind that only take a quarter turn to remove the jet from it's holder. I would also suggest running a vinegar/water solution through the system to help clean any chemical residue out of the lines. Put a couple of gallons of hot water in the solution tank with a couple of cups of white vinegar and then plug the unit in and press the solution button and let the solution run for a minute or so and then let it sit over night if you can. Then push the solution button again the nest day and let it run for another minute or so and then drain the vinegar/water solution and put in fresh hot water and run it through for several minutes. Also, soak the jets in some of the vinegar/water solution over night as well and do all of the running of the water with the jets off so that you do not clog them up further. Hope this helps.

How old is it? Batteries have a finite lifespan, so it may be just that it needs a new battery.

Otherwise, there may be a short or something internally that is draining the battery down.

I have the instructions that came with the Silicon Scientific Atomic Projection Clock and was going to attach them as a PDF but it doesn't look like it's allowed here. If anyone know how to do that let me know.
