yes. You need to turn it off, turn it back on again, using the handle of the bowl, give it a swift sharp turn, anti/clockwise i believe, the wee button should pop up,

Hi, i think your thermostat is busted. You can buy these online. Depending on the age of your pressure cooker, it may be easier to buy a new one?

Hi, it seems that the mechanics have jammed due to lack of use. It happens all the time. I would suggest turning the lid anti-clockwise i believe. Also the fuse could need changing

Hi, your best bet would be Ebay i think

Hi, if you go to the manufacturer, or the place you bought it, they will advise you for free, you could just call them too, and they should send you a manual. You may also be lucky enough to find one online. Just type in the make and model, and follow it with "manual", you might hit the jackpot. Good luck

Hi. I believe those bowls turn anti-clockwise if im not mistaken, it may take a little bit of brute force though

Hi, either your supplier should have a little catalogue where you can buy parts from, or Ebay is great for those sorts of things. The wee catalogue should be free from your supplier or manufacturer. I hope this helps

It's Jammed.... start it, stop it, start it, stop it, keep doing this for a while, it should start to spin eventually

Hi, first and most importantly.... do NOT put your hand in there, set it up, switch it on, hopefully the blade will rotate.. then stop it and check if the blade will come loose on its own. This happened to me, and thats what worked. I had to do it a few times though, good luck!

Aha,were you the lady I advised a few days ago. Keep all the follow-ups in the same post by clicking COMMENT under the name of the person you are addressing. Actually, your history doesn't look like it was you. Anyway, there is a safety interlock in the handle that runs trough to the lid. It stops you running the processor with the lid off. The bowl must be latched with the handle facing right and the lid must be securely latched against the stop. if there are tabs or parts broken on the bowl or lid, they need to be replaced.

This is most often caused by the safety interlock coming into action. The bowl and the lid have to be correctly fitted in the right location. On most, this is with the handle of the bowl facing the operator. Then the lid has to be securely locked in place.

If it is correctly located, with no bowl and no blade, press a screwdriver into the safety interlock hole on the upper part of the machine. Does it work now? If it does, you need a new bowl and lid, if it doesn't, you need a new machine. Unless it is a really good make, it is not worth getting them repaired.

Click COMMENT under my post if you need any further help. I am a trade chef :>)
