How can I test the motor relay on a Magimix food processor?

Overloading may have caused a thermal protector buried in the motor windings to open in which case the motor will have to be replaced.

The knife in my magimix 4100 is stuck I can't take it off the bowl. The bowl does turn to the left and then it won't come off with the knife. The magimix still works. What can I do? Many thanks

New magimix won't start

It is most likely the way the bowl and lid are set.

Facing the machine:
the bowl locks in, with the handle to your right directly above the switches. The lid has a double tab...see underside of the top of the lid. Place the lid on tightly with both tabs locked into bowls handle. It really clicks in.

Remove the rubber feet. The screws are usually hidden underneath them.

Hi, if it is the motor, (sounds like) then yes it is expensive to fix. You may be better off getting a refurbished one. :-)

Magimix spindle not turning

That is indicative of three things

food down the spindle which has jammed.

Overheat fuse if it has one.

or a seized motor.

Magimix is a good make so it is worthy of professional repair.

My Magimix Cuisine 4200 XL motor will not spin. When I turn it on to operate, there is a groaning noise from the motor as if jammed. It is just two years old. There are no service Centre’s in the country where I live

I would open the back and check that the belt that helps it spin hasn,t dislodged or come loose

Incorrect voltage. Cookers, if in the USA, are wires across phases at 220V and a single phase is only 110V.
