Hi- not sure if it will help but I had issues getting it out. What I found is the plastic casing (fridge) needed a little twist/push. Play with it- hold the filter in and GENTLY push/pull/twist slightly the fridge housing.

We had the same issue. My husband unscrewed the filter cover (1 screw on the left side of the filter under the light flap). Then he pushed the old filter in & lifted it up and it came right out.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that the puresource3 water filter is leaking in your Frigidaire refrigerator. Please make sure that it is the filter leaking. Check for cracks in the filter. If the filter itself is not leaking, it might be something in the filter housing that is leaking. If this is the case, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose and determine what exactly is causing the leak. Hope this is helpful.

Good Morning Joseph,

I see that you are having trouble with water dispensing and ice being produced on your Frigidaire refrigerator, even after replacing water filter, model# ULTRAWF, twice. I would suggest to reset your refrigerator, by either unplugging it, or shutting the power off at the circuit breaker for at least 2-3 minutes. Once power is restored try to get water out of the dispenser. If you are still having trouble with the water dispenser, remove the water filter and replace it, making sure you hear two clicks and the filter is flush with the filter housing. If these suggestions do not work, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance.

There is some truth to it. Refrigerant needs to flow from high pressure to low pressure, and refrigerant pressure is directly proportional to temperature. Once the temperature drops below 40*F, for the outdoor coil, refrigeration efficiency is lost. Some heatpump units need auxiliary heat because.
Cold refrigerant condenses, into a liquid, and a compressor will not compress liquid, why its valves and internals would chatter into pieces. There is such thing as compressor crank case heaters, or belly band heaters. A heater removes, evaporates liquid refrigerant from within a compressor, it is protection.

I would get a compressor heater, wraps around the compressor belly, near 50 watts, and can use a relay to switch off the heater when the compressor runs, or let the heater work continuously.

I DON'T KNOW. PERHAPS MOVING ARM UP AND DOWN A FEW TIMES - THEN UP AGAIN MIGHT
RESET CLICKER. IF NOT, TRY UNPLUGGING AT WALL AND MOVING ARM AGAIN.

The LED above the Ice Off icon should be lit when the icemaker is disabled. It should be off when you want ice from the icemaker. To toggle the setting, press and hold the Ice Off touch pad for 3+ seconds. This is shown in the manual for the FPHF2399MF2 on page 14. Sears Parts Direct has the manual here: https://www.searspartsdirect.com/manual/234cu4elin-001428/frigidaire-fphf2399mf2-bottom-mount-refrigerator .

I hope this helps.
