If this doesn't solve the problem, you might have a defective thermostat.

Pull the power red wire off the thermostat and batteries out if it has battery backup, then reinstall...much like a computer restart. If this doesn't work, then replace your thermostat.

Press Fan & up arrow @ the same time until you get into programming mode. download the manual & go through the numbered steps until you get to the turn wifi on & off. When you turn it on, it should show up on your computer wifi list. then program the wifi the same way you did initially with the other router.

On a Honeywell thermostat the flashing means that the system is in a delay to turn on the compressor. This is used to protect the compressor from coming on and off too often. The normal delay is about 5 minutes. After that the system should come on. If not there is s problem.

In order to help us help you we will need a little more information. What happens either at the inside unit or at the outside unit after the thermostat stops flashing "Cool"? Any fans come on? Do you hear a "KLUNK"? Any sparks? Please let us know so we can help.
