Top 20 Sanyo DS27910 27" TV Questions & Answers

High voltage failure. Take off the back cover and look for the high voltage transformer. The transformer has high voltage at about 380 volts with low current, but it will give you a shock. Usually, there is a capacitor or two, hopefully, there is only one capacitor. Check the DC voltage across it - should be about 390 to 400 volts. If not, change this high voltage capacitor. Buy one bigger than the current one by three times.

The TV has different inputs modes, the TV tuner being on of them, another mode(s) will accept an input from the input jack(s) on the back, front or side of your TV. Look for and source button or input button on the front of the TV, press it waiting a few seconds between each push until the picture returns.

This could be attributed to tuning reception of your tv. If your using antenna only, it is most probable. If cable, check your line.

If this is a crt type, moving that tv with that size could somehow bend its circuit board. Loose connection is a probability. Could be some minor component is detached from solder. This can be attributed to tuner and vertical IC.

Just for an input.
