If inserting headphones before the fault caused the speakers to switch off. Then you should look to the headphone socket as the cause of the problem. It could be that inside the contacts have become bent out of shape. You might need to replace the headphone socket. If you can use a soldering iron you can do this yourself. Otherwise it's not an expensive repair.

I dontknow if you have ever opened a cd player to see exactle what is going on inside of it, bit there are only a few phillips screws holding the cover on 90% of them. easy to open. If you take the cover off the top, I think you will be able to identify the problem. My guess is that it got bumped really hard or dropped, and the ejection mechanics are out of line. You should be able to visibly see that when you try to eject the CD with the cover off.. Be very careful when you have the cover off and have it plugged in at the same time. risk of shock. I would try using rubber handled needle-nose pliers if you were going to try to line up the ejection motor gears. they are held with whimpy metal so be gentle. you dont want to make it worse. The other thing you can do, is to use some simple light oil on the gears, or even a white litlium grease. Please post if this works. good luck ! Tim

To my knowledge, an F61 error is a blown fuse. A workaround is to replace the fuse with the same value but specify slow blow.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

The F76 message indicates a fault in one of the internal outputs on the power supply. There aren't any settings or resets that will fix this, and the Panasonic will require service.

Maybe helps:

What speakers do you have connected to the SA-AK220? This is the main unit of the SC-AK220. WIthout the SB-AK220 speakers or another set of speakers connected to the black and red connections for the Right and Left speakers on the back of the SA-AK220, you will not get any sound output.

I hope this helps. The manual for this mini-audio system is available from ManualsLib: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/117595/Panasonic-Sc-Ak220.html .
