You would need to align the printer heads, this can be done with the aid of the software for your printer. Might need to see the control panel. Some-times this can also happen if generic cartridges are used.

Happy printing!

The cartridge is not compatible. Your printer requires a genuine HP cartridge.

This might be a bit unusual but did you connect the USB cable? You should have 2 wires connected to your computer.

Part of the print job may be in the printer's memory and part may be in the PC's memory.

Rebooting the printer will remove the portion in the printer, but if there's still some in the PC' sit will just start to "refill" the printer when it comes back online.

Go into your Printers folder (Start > Settings > Printers -or- Start > Printers) to find your HP and open it. Now you're looking at the print queue. If there are any print jobs, there, delete them.

Now reboot your PC and your printer together. Power them both down fully (Start > Shut Down > Shut Down), then power them both up. Make sure they're off and not just in sleep - low power mode. When you're back online, any stuck print jobs should be gone.

  • If the user cannot solve an issue that has been troubleshooting frequently, then obviously the last thing would do is to reset the printer.
  • To perform a reset, turn on the 123.hp.com/oj6700 printer by pressing the power button.
  • With the printer turned ON, disconnect the power cord from the rear end of the printer.
  • Remove the power cord from the wall outlet. Wait for a few seconds and re-connect the power plug back to the outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer's rear. If the printer does not turn ON automatically, press the Power button. for More visit https://goo.gl/t55XMJ Call Our Toll-Free 1 888 224 4280

The Officejet 8710 printer can face paper mismatch issues if the paper settings are not set properly in the Print Preview box.
Try setting the Paper Type option to Plain in the settings window that appears before performing the print.
Change the settings to 8.5 x 11 in both the copier and the printer setting.
There can also be an issue with the paper tray.
Set the paper width guides correctly.
Try printing a Configuration report to determine which paper size the printer is configured to.

Any bits of paper stuck inside the printer roller might also cause paper feeding errors.
Open the cartridge access door of your HP Officejet Pro printer.
Wait for the ink cartridges to a position on the left.
Look for any pieces of paper inside the cartridge area.
If any bits are found, remove them. That should solve your problem.
