Camcorder when recording displays, hard
Possible that you will need to format off the hard disc and clean off all the files present. The camcorder seems to hang up as there is some errors occurs on the hard disc. If this wont solve it is possible that some sectors in the hard disc can be faulty.

The problem is that the ccd ic has gone out or the lens has failed causing the iris to stay closed. It is experience with that camcorder that the ccd assy is the culprit. I hope that helps.

go to disc navigation on ur camcorder then hit the menu button and scroll down til u get to the finalize cd option. make sure you have a full battery cuz if it gets interupted it might corrupt the dvd

ITS PRBLEM WITH URS CAMCODER INSIDE READING LENS ,,
SOMETIMES NEW CDS HAVE SOME TRACK READING PROBLEM,
CHECK IT WITH AGAIN A NEW CD.
OR
CLEAN LENS WITH CLEANING SOLUTION OF CAMCODER,
IF BOTH DOESNT WORK ITS PROBLEM WITH URS CAMCODER LENS..

A possible stuck on the mechanism of the device. In able not to damaged the unit, better not to do it yourself, it is advisable that you take the unit into any local repair center.

I am going to answer all your solutions so that way another expert will not feel as I did when he takes a chance on your chat. Sir/Madam I think you should have not given me a bad rating just because you did not want my solution weather it was cheap or not you can talk to the person

ask the for a bulk discount or a finalization fee but you did not want to even talk about paying more then your chat fee.. See I can handle most repair on here YES about 99.95 percent but your asking me to beam my self to you and finalize your disk for the same chat fee wow that is not gonna happen.
This is a example of what you just did you asked for a expert chat for advice or a solution knowing fair well its going to be difficult but you went ahead anyway.. you get the experts advice and walk.. Anyway you would like to put it its cheating the expert and company. I know Fixya has a 30 day thing but come on this is just absurd.

i just came on for the same reason and just figured it out the adapter goes into the camcorder and you plug the cord from the adapter into the charger that way it had full power it only takes 2 minutes hope that helps...
