The rotor at the base of the drawer is either faulty or there is a blockage in the rotor cavity.

Need to take it out and clean the cavity first. If no difference, then need to replace it. Costs about $50.

The lid seal of the top drawer is broken or has come off. To get to it you will have to take the two drawers out carefully along with the cables and hoses intact.

Then feel the top underside of the cabinet for the lid seal. Depending on the problem it will have to be replaced. There is an intricate mechanism of actuator arms and motors that drive it. I hope these are ok.

If you are lucky maybe the drawer has just come off the rails and you could put it back and it will be ok.

The problem is the thermal fuse in the bottom drawer which shuts of the controller power. But the thermal fuse is part of the heater assembly. So you will have to replace the lot.

It is not an easy procedure to replace the heater assembly as the whole system is intervined with the pump and motor components.

You will have to disconnect all wiring and hoses from the base of the drawer once you have it out after removing the transparent plastic wiring cover.

Then you have to release the locking ring to remove the pump and motor assembly along with the heater plate.

Hope this helps. please rate the solution if ok otherwise drop a comment.

It appears that the actuator problem with the top drawer has occured after you fixed the wiring etc with the lower drawer.

Have you checked if the both the motors controlling the right and left actuator arms are actually getting voltage. Considering the lid dropping could be due to the weight of the lid taking the yoke arm down with it. It is the raising that will occur only if the motors are working. It is also possible (assuming motors are working) the travel of yoke is limited or the two motors are not aligned in the travel.

The other thing to consider is whether the upper drawer is not permanently in the closed drawer mode. This means the lid will only lift when you press the power button.

I am assuming you have now fixed the lower drawers and it is working ok.

First you half to find the leak... This could be from many reasons. here are some common leaks with this unit : Lid seal is very common, motor seal, Drain hose, inlet water valve.

Then you dry the inside bottom of the machine where the flote switch is (( making sure power is off to the unit )) This will tell the unit that the water is gone and the error will no come back untill the switch is activated again.

Advise on this machine. Have a pro work on it. Make sure they say they can work on it.

Hi,

"U1 error code" means the unit has failed to prime with water within 3 minutes. Its taking longer than expected to fill with water. Check the fill valve,it might be due to water supply problem, or the spray arm might not be in the exact position place.Check the above to fix this error code.

Thank you !!

Turn off the main power to the dishwasher.

I am assuming you are getting F1 error code flashing on the LCD display. This occurs if the flood switch is activated.

The flood switch is located at the base of the drawer tub. You will have to either extend the drawers out fully or take them out depending on the amount of water that would have collected at the base of the tubs. Get some towels and dry the base out. You may also need a hair dryer.

Once the flood switch dries off the drawer should work ok when you turn back the power.

The causes of the flood switch trriggering is either too much foam in detergent (use recommended detergent) or leak in water in or drain pipe.

Please remember to rate the solution if it helps or post a comment if not.

Hi,

Purchase a new door seal if there is water leaking out of the dishwasher door. The door seal is located on the inside of the door of the dishwasher or along the door opening of the dishwasher cabinet. The new seal must be compatible with the model dishwasher which is being repaired. Dishwasher parts may be purchased online through the manufacturer's website or an appliance parts store.
Soak the new seal in warm soapy water for half an hour so that it will insert more easily into the seal groove. When it has dried, rub petroleum jelly on flanges (the rubber part that will fit into the dishwasher seal's groove) to help them slip in easier.
Remove the bottom dish rack.
Pry the old seal up with a screwdriver. Remove any screws clips or clamps that may be screwed in. As the seal is being lifted, observe how it fits. This will make it easier to replace the part.
Install the new seal from the top. Press the seal into the grooves of the dishwasher door, the seal "housing". Start at the top of the door's seal housing and press the seal in, moving to the sides and then the bottom of the door.
Replace any screws clips or clamps that were holding the old seal in.

F1 indicates a leak. It could be that you got some water down below the drawer into the pan. This is where the sensor is located. If you pull the drawer out you will see the water. They are pretty sensitive to any water. Also you might have a leak because the bottom drawer lid is not sealing properly.
www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html has a video on replacing the seal if it is a problem.

There is no water coming to the drawer.

This could be due to several reasons. The tap must be on as I presume the top drawer is working.

Could be one or more issues like Inlet solenoid, controller problem, impeller arm not rotating or rotor not sitting properly.

might have set the child lock button. If you have the manual it explains how to disable child lock
