that isn't a model number and kenmore doesn't make anything so you have to send the full model number off of the dryer, open the door look around the opening where you put the clothes in and send the model number,if it's beeping and starting on it's own it sounds like you have a computer board problem with it but can't help you without the model number.

Mine did the same thing. It started right after the warranty ran out. I dealt with it for a long time until 1 day it wouldn't stop running. I saw a couple internet posts about defective circuit boards in this model so I got brave and took mine apart. Once I got the board out and examined it I found 7 or 8 cracked solder joints, including the main power supply to the board. I reheated them with a soldering iron and added a little bit more solder to a couple of them and now my dryer works like the day it was new.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# FEQ1442ES, will not stay running. Please check to make sure the door is staying closed. If the door is opening in mid-cycle, then the dryer will stop running. Also, make sure the plug is in the socket tightly. Your dryer could be shaking the plug loose, which could possibly be causing it to stop running. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

If the repair cost is more than 50% of the cost of a replacement, it probably is not worth trying.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire dryer, model# FEQ1442ES, runs for about 10 minutes then turns off. I also see, that when it turns off, all the lights on the front panel are flashing. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. If the start switch is stuck or the start knob is stuck in the start position the dryer will run when the door is closed, and the timer is at at a time setting. if you have no heat you might need a heating element or your unit might have a thermal fuse that would need replacing.

Woah? Crazy machine you got there. You should try unplugging it or reseting it, if that doesn't work, contact ur nearest washing mashine place or fix place.

Checkout the heating element. If it is open the electronics of machine may be programmed to turn it off and blink lights.

First off clean your dyer vent tubes all the way to outside of you home. This could have been caused by clogged/ dirty vents
Ok so two possible problems.
1. The thermal fuse has blown. It stops the heating coils from working as a safety when overheated. To access your must remove the top cover. It is located towards the top at the right rear of your unit. To check it you need an ohm meter and must unplug the unit. There will be two wires to it unplug them and check for continuity between. If there is not it must be replaced (about $20). If it is bad replacing it should solve your problem.

2. The heating element has gone bad. This is a much more complicated repair on your unit and requires a lot of disassembly to even test. The part is about $80 and unless you are adept at taking dryers apart you might want to call a repairman.

For parts diagrams you could look up online. I use appliance pros but there are many others.

Hope that helps.

The fuse is located upper right hand corner of the rear wall next to the high limit thermostat. It is a small black disc about the size of a dime and has 2 white wires going to it. Their are many great pages on dryer repair and I have one on these also.

Good Afternoon Terry, thank you for your post!

Often constant beeping is an indication that the unit is experiencing a possible error. I under you have tried resetting the dryer by flipping the breaker. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes before turning on the unit. If the beeping continues, then the appliance could be experiencing a communication issue with the control board or a potential wiring failure. I would recommend connecting with a qualified appliance repairman to proceed further.
