Make sure their is no stray ice cubes jamming the ice maker. If they are then zap em with a hair dryer. Fill the ice maker with water and wait. if it kicks out a batch change the water valve. if it don't kick nine out change out the ice mold thermostat. None of this is very hard to fix. One other thing is if those condenser coils are clogged with lint then the ice maker won't get down to 25 f and the ice mold thermostat won't start the harvest.

IF THE COMPRESSOR IS COMING ON AND OFF IN A MATTER OF SECONDS, YOU MAY HAVE A BAD START DEVICE(RELAY) ON THE COMPRESSOR. IF THE COMPRESSOR RUNS FOR FIVE MINUTES OR MORE, CHECK THE FAN NEAR THE COMPRESSOR AND THE COILS
UNDER THE REFRIGERATOR. IF THINGS SEEM EXTREMELY
HOT, CLEAN THE COILS AND MAKE SURE THE FAN IS RUNNING. IF IT IS ALL O.K. YOU MAY HAVE A LEAK IN THE SEALED SYSTEM( TUBING WHERE THE FREON FLOWS).
THAT WOULD REQUIRE A CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN LICENSED TO HANDLE FREON TO MAKE REPAIRS.

A new Maytag fridge , lights are working but the fridge is not cooling. The alarm light is not lit up

Slide the frig out, (Unplug Frig. first) remove the cover so you can see the condenser, beside the condenser there is a switch that has to be carefully removed w/(fasteners) Take to your nearest appliance store, last time I did this it was like $52.00. Carefully plug-in, take not were the wiring goes usually they only fit just one way. reassemble cover, plug-in you should hear it kick on, good luck.

It will show you styles of Maytag Refrigerators. If you click on the one that matches your style, it will show you possible areas the filter is located. You can then look in those areas. Once you locate it, then you can then identify your filter part # and replace if needed. You can also go to Maytags website and look up your model and find the manual. The manual will likely tell you where the filter is and what the part number is.

What # should my Maytag freezer be set at? It has an ice maker with a bin but not a water dispenser. There is water leaking under the unit.

You should have got a new code for the NEW board. it is a microprocessor. like a password.

Maytag refrigerator mfi2568aes replaced control board in back and input code and saved. now nothing is running but display is fine

Sometimes the new board will be in defrost mode when you install it, leave it powered up for 30 minutes to see if it begins cooling... Maytag Refrigerator Control Board W10890094
Also be sure the code is entered properly, these will do NOTHING without the right code.
