Hi.

You can save about half of the regular retail price buying the detector online. See the links below:

Best choice:

900-0113 - Kidde Plug-In CO Propane and Natural Gas Detector

More choice:

Plug-in CO Alarm

Alternatively:
CO Detectors

This instead is a module to integrate with alarm system (GE alarm). If you want a module to integrate with your existing alarm, call alarm manufacturer: 60-652-95 - GE Crystal Carbon Monoxide CO Detector NX497

Alternatively CO detectors can be purchased locally at appliance and camping stores.

Read this before purchasing:Carbon Monoxide | CMHC

Defrost timer may be bad stays on all time try pulling one wire off the timer and see if it starts without defrost on

it sounds like the overload relay and start ptc has failed.if you have a clamp meter you can attach it to one of the power wires leading to the compressorand see what it reads when the unit tries to engage.the normally operating range should be 1.2- 1.6 amps. if this is to high or to low the compressor may be bad but i would try and replace the overload relay and start ptc first and see what happens

Last one of these brought to me had lost it's charge. They are not very well built.

If your within 5 years, take it back to where you bought it. Unit's have a 5 year warranty on the compressor. If the compressor is bad, negotiate trade-in for a newer unit as you can buy a new, better unit for about the same amount of money.

turn the temperature nob all the way to full then all the way to minimum. (the red button you press to defrost the fridge probably needs to be reset...)
