No, open the system, check the switch in questions, get a soldering iron and desolderer to remove the switch, do it carefully, when you have the switch in your hand go to maplins or somewhere like it, find an exact replacement(wont be hard to do) and get someone confident with a soldering iron to solder it back in.

hi there
you will need to get a larger ground wire and it needs to be mounted to metal surface. this means you may have to scratch some paint in area where you will place the new ground wire (note do not add any other wires to this ground)
if that doesn't solve the problem than your settings may be to high on the amp but this sounds like a ground issue also make sure no fuses in amp are blown
hope this helps

If the amp is in protect mode, it probably has shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible problems, do the following. I'll assume that you've checked the amplifier's on-board fuses.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp (not on the point where the ground wire connected to the vehicle) and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

If the voltage remains near or above 12v, disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up, the wiring needs to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp almost certainly has shorted output transistors and will need to be repaired.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

That image just shows that you have chosen Auxiliary Input, can't see the red dots. Looks like you just need to reconfigure it.

Tip & How-To about Watches

Changing Watch Batteries
Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10!

Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!

There are lots of suggestions, specs and plans for loudspeaker enclosures available online with accompanying formulas for calculating sizes of boxes, ports, etc., but successful results tend to be achieved by experience as much as following plans and tuned port reflex enclosures are akin to the black arts - hifi purists would change the port size after a "bedding in" time for the enclosure and drive unit.

Your subs are rated at 300 rms so clearly you are overloading them at 350/400 and you should be aiming to max them at around 250 in a reflex cabinet. If you really must drive them so hard you really need to consider an infinite baffle as an alternative enclosure.
