49.XXXXX ERROR To continue turn off then on

A critical firmware error has occurred.
This type of error can be caused by invalid
print commands, corrupt data, or invalid
operations.
In some instances, electrical noise in the
cable can corrupt data during transmission
to the MFP. Other causes include poorquality
parallel cables, poor connections, or
specific software programs.
Sometimes, the formatter itself is at fault,
which is usually indicated by a 79 ERROR
message.

Follow this:

1 Turn the MFP off, and then turn the MFP on.
2 Upgrade the firmware.
3 Try printing a job from a different software program. If the job prints, go back to the first program and try printing a different file. If the message appears only with a certain software program or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.
4 If the message persists when using different software programs and attempting specific print jobs, disconnect all of the cables that connect the MFP to the network or a computer.
5 Turn the MFP off.
6 Remove all DIMMs and flash-memory cards. Do not remove the firmware memory card that is in slot 1.
7 Remove all of the EIO devices.
8 Turn the MFP on.
9 If the error message disappears, reinstall each DIMM, flash-memory card, and EIO device individually, making sure to turn the MFP power off and then on again as you install each device.
10 Replace the component that caused the error message.
11 If the error persists, replace the formatter.

59.4 = Print-cartridge-motor error

TRY THIS

1 Turn the MFP off, and then turn the
MFP on.
2 Reconnect the wire-harness on the dc
controller PCA for the motor that is
indicated. For the main motor, this is
connector J98. For the print-cartridge
motor, this is connector J86.
3 Replace the motor. See Main motor
(M101) or Print-cartridge motor (M102).
4 Replace the dc controller PCA.

You've done everything I would have done and more.
How about you installing a DOA duplexer. At this point I would change it again. Is there another printer that you can swap duplexers with?
There is a paper path sensor test (letter H) and manual sensor test . I don't know if the Component test checks the duplexer, but you should be able to find out.
Is the printer still under warranty? Can you call HP or are you an HP tech and you can call 2nd level support.
Just a thought....when you run a Config sheet, does it show the duplexer?

In DIAGNOSTICS menu select "paper path sensor test"
Pay attention to E, it refers to "tray 2 pre feed sensor".
You say that you " tried changing Rollers, and all the sensors".
I'm confused, does that mean that you tried and couldn't change the sensors.
You could also have a bad paper tray.
Did you also try and succeed in changing the tray 2 jam access door roller?
13.01.00 means that the pre feed sensor never sensed paper, so either the sensor is bad or the paper never fed out of the tray. Try a different tray.

I believe you have to pull the printer info up thru the network cable, click on settings and on the left side it should show email address, click on that and go in and edit info.

A 59.4 error is a failure of the main cartridge drive motor. Sometimes this can be triggered by a cartridge that does not turn freely. Try turning the machine off and leave it for about five minutes and then turn back on. If that does not work, replace the cartridge and try again. If that does not cure it then the motor will need to be replaced, assuming that no one has been monkeying around inside the printer because we sometimes get this error if motor connector is left off.

a 49.xxxx error on an HP means that there is an issue with one or more hard disks. you can try to re-initialise the hard disk(s) by rebooting the printer while holding the green button. when the three leds are lit, release the green button, and navigate using the numerical buttons until you see "initialise hard disks" on the display of the printer. confirm by pressing the green button again. if all goes well, your printer will take two minutes longer than usual to boot. if you still get the same error afterwards, you need to replace the disk.

You've done everything but replace the formatter.
Can you look at the Event Log? Look for a 79.xxxx error. That is definately a formatter.
Is this a solid error, meaning does it appear when printer inits?
Remove the DIMMs and flash memory and network cable. And reinstall one by one until error reappears.
Do you have another 4345 that you can "borrow" a formatter from?

This error relates to application file types not working, such as PDF, Word etc.

Download the HP Firmware update for the specific printer and install.

I found that Windows XP & Windows 7 work fine after doing the firmware update, which was released in June 2010. However, Windows Vista continues to have issues, despite the firmware update.

This is a print cartridge motor error. It is usually cause by the toner cartridge not being able to turn.

This solution came from the HP forums click here to the original post

"You can send this job to the printer to make it copy from a different tray. Trick is that this only works with paper type, so you need to configure one tray for a different media type - recycled in my case. Or edit the file before sending it to the printer.

This is the only way how to change the defaults. For regular copy jobs you can change the tray in the copy menu, but that is not a default setting change"

They stated it would be release in a more recent firmware version. However I have a M4345 here with the lastest firmware as of 2010 and no such function is available. - T

The pin for this specific machine should be 11434506.
If that doesn't work you must cold reset the machine.

Turn it off the machine.
Turn machine on hold 6 down until the memory count is done and all 3 lights are on release 6 and use 3 to arrow up to cold reset and press 6 "acts as the enter button"

FYI
3 works as arrow up
9 works as arrow down
6 works as the Enter button
