That will generally indicate a major system problem on just about any PC. On your PC it should be indicating an issue with the video subsystem. These problems are not always fatal so it might be as simple as pulling the power and battary for a full system reset or you might need to do a firmware reset. at any rate I am not an expert on Acers so hear is a link to the Acer help site with the exact error you are having and they did get it fixed. take a look.

Any one will do. That is the beauty of that system. It may take a moment for the system to configure itself.

Remove the ram and use the known good RAM. If your motherboard has more than one slot then try the other slots in your computer.

One long beep and 2 short beeps means that there is something wrong with your video. Open the side cover and make sure all cables are plugged in and also make sure your video card is seated all the way in. If it is on board video then it may be the drivers or the mother board. Check the main board for blown caps. The tops of the caps have an X cut into them. If this bubbles up then the cap is no good and the board needs replacing.

Does it say anything else? Sometimes this type of recurring message can be due to the system time not being set. Entering setup and configuring the time may work.

By removing the silver button cell/battery, found on the computer mainboard, for about a minute and reinstalling it in the correct orientation.

All the best!

To be honest, any make of DVD writer, so long as it is the right physical size, will do. Your pocket will decide how good you want it to be.
They start from not a lot to about £35 for a really fast one.
When you have decided which one you want, check out ebay and major computer stores before commiting yourself, just put it in the slot, boot up the computer and it will do most of the sorting out for you,
If you are running Win7 or Vista, leave it alone and it will find the drivers itself. XP may need help and the older OS's will need a driver disk.
Hope that answers your question.

Remove it from the sections of Mice and HID sections in
Device Manager. Then reboot. XP will automatically re-detect and re-install it.
these when it find the USB mouse connected to the PC.

Hello there,

Just do a Windows Update. Of course by doing this, your windows copy of license should be guinuine, otherwise, it would cost you more trouble.

After updating, you need to reinstall the magic jack again.

What changed? Try resetting your BIOS to Bare. You will then have to reset time and date. As far as safe mode goes, replace component after component until you get to the one causing the trouble. You may have some CPU parameters wrong. Did you change that recently?

You need to search for updates to your IR device's driver. Go to the manufacturer's website and try to locate their drivers for your computer (if in fact the IR device came preinstalled) if not, go to the manufacturer's website for the IR device and find a fix or patch for the problem with your operating system.
