My frigidarie refrigerator ice maker does't work
Your inlet tube that goes to the icemaker may be frozen.
To Check: Shut off water supply to Fridge, disconnect the water line that goes to the icemaker at top back.
Use a flexible item to insert in the water line connection.
I used a zip tie. If the flexible item won't all the through
to the ice maker, the line is frozen. Thaw out the tube
from inside the freezer with a hair dryer. Re-connect
everything, you now have ice . . .
Solution #2: You may have to replace your "Water Inlet
Valve" located at bottom right rear of Fridge.
Easy to do, just follow the color codes, be sure and shut
off the water.

IF YOU CHANGED THE FILTER AND GOT WATER OUT THE DISPENSOR AND HAD A RUSH OF AIR COME OUT OF THE LINE. YOU MAY HAVE GOT WATER UNDER THE DRIP TRAY. WATER WILL THEN COME AROUND AND APPEAR THAT THE DISPENSOR IS LEAKING. OR YOU MAY HAVE NOT PURGED ALL OF THE AIR. LET ME KNOW.

Fridge problems - frigidaire
Sort of sounds like the adaptive defrost board is bad and you are not going into a defrost cycle. Do you have ice build up on the lower interior freezer section? Are the vent slots full of frost/ice? Ideally, pull the freezer shelfs out and take the little aluminum panel off the interior back to look at the coils. Are they basically a block of ice and frost? The problem happens when the unit doesn't go into defrost cycle and the coils freeze up. That blocks the air flow in the freezer so you get frozen food at the bottom but soft stuff at the top. And the frige just can't get enough cool/cold air from the freezer section to cool anymore. Power surges or blackouts, etc. can just destroy the defrost circuit board. Without good air flow the unit is not going to cool properly.

Frigidaire fridge FPHN2899LF2 is completely dead, no lights, compressor not running. I replaced Main control board -still dead.
Be aware the fridge works with deadly voltages. If you have not enough technical knowledge, please don't do this yourself.
With a multi meter you can measure if the voltage you apply is entering the fridge. There is not much in a fridge. You find a on / of switch, a thermostat en mostly an override switch too short a thermostat. So if you measure a voltage coming is, follow the wiring and check what the thermostat does. if it won't switch you have the cause. If it does switch, follow the wiring, and if the aggregate gets a voltage and does not run, you have a defective aggregate. I can't think of more.
