Usually a printer doesn't lie when it indicates a paper jam, if you have checked as thoroughly as possible and no paper can be found. It is possible that the paper just isn't feeding and a printer will sometimes indicate a paper jam when paper doesn't feed. But if this isn't the case and a jam is indicated as soon as you turn the printer on, one of the plastic jam sensing actuators may be broken or hung up.

You have pulled the drum unit out of position possably after changing the waist toner ? Open the back cover, open the frunt cover and remove the developer unit, the full unit not just the toner, open the side cover where the waist toner bottle is and push the drum unit back into place until it clicks, put the dev unit back in place and close everything reboot the machine

The fault is described correctly by tigertail - howerver this is not a chargeable repair as the 0150 fault is due to a problem at manufacture so being out of warranty does not matter.

Call the support line and you will have to pay for delivery to the repair center but repair is free and return postage is free.

could be a hundred reasons, most likely is the rollers are worn try rubbing the rollers with a scouring pad which will give them a bit more friction to grab the paper with, this is only a temperary fix though!

Try a new bottle. I've seen where the there's enough old toner clining to the sides of the bottle that prevent the sensor from seeing through it. Of course the sensor and led may be covered with old toner. Get in there with a vacuum when the machines off and clean it out.

If you pull the fuser out, look at the bottom of the sliding mechanism for a bent metal tab that actuates a switch when you close the rear drawer.

They get bent pretty easily.

Error code 7410 indicates that the drum unit is not installed correctly. This is usually caused by dirty contacts or a faulty drum unit chip. First remove the toner and developer unit, then the waste toner bottle. Unlock and remove the drum unit by depressing the catch that sits behind the waste toner bottle and pulling the unit out to the L/H side. Be very careful not to scratch the drum and avoid strong light as it is easily damaged. Clean up all contacts and refit in reverse order. Hope this helps, if not you may need to buy a new drum unit.

Hi, just swith off printer, and open left cover.Push drum unit(with grey lever on it -just by waste toner bottle) in the printer.Switch on printer.Drum unit was out of position.
