You will want to do a factory reset of your phone. This will clear it of any user information you had put on your phone, and place it in the condition when you first bought the phone.

WARNING: Proceed with caution. A factory reset will result in the loss of ALL user data. It is recommended to perform a backup of the RIM BlackBerry data.
  • Scroll to and select the Settings icon (to select push the trackball in).
  • Scroll to and select the Options icon.
  • Scroll to and select Security Options.
  • Scroll to and select General Settings.
  • Press the Menu key , then select Wipe Handheld.
  • The device is going to confirm that the data will be erased. Select Continue.
  • Enter "blackberry" to confirm handheld wipe.

First, it is recommended that you should download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5

Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device.

Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues.

If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

hi what this mean is that the settings on your phone are wrong ie sms settings mms settings and internet settings, now one or more of these may have the wrong settings so all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them for the correct message center number once you have this they will then send the correct settings to your phone via text message this will then update your phone to the correct setting.

You can only get these settings from your service provider they dont charge for this service but its the only way you can get your phone set up to the corrrect settings

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Go to settings > Options > Security Options > General Settings. Once in there, click on the menu key and select "wipe handheld". This will remove all information from the device and disable the wireless.

When you start it up again you will have to go through the setup wizard just as if you had powered it on for the first time.
