Hello,

if the unit is dead and does not power up, then it means its having a power problem. it might have worked fine in the past, but that's electronics for you. Power surge, irregular power supply, excess power supply, etc can affect the unit thereby not making it to power on.

This unit must have a power supply board in it where power enters from the mains. A capacitor, fuse, diode, etc may have been defective on the power board and maybe that's why its not making the unit turn on. There might also be some disconnection or something, inside the unit which is not making it to power on.

Also, it is possible that heat coming out from the unit, may have melted a wire inside or there might be some sort of disconnection due to one reason or the other. Also, if the plug of the bread-maker is a 3pin plug, then maybe the fuse in the plug may have blown.

To actually find out what's wrong, you need to disassemble the unit with a screw driver and check what's wrong. You will be needing a meter in order to test the components on the power board, once you detect any bad component, you can make necessary replacement at any electronics accessories store withing our vicinity. This is the only way by which you can detect the problem.

Of course, testing the power board with a meter will require someone that has the ability. So it you can't, then you might be needing the help of a friend or family that has the ability to help you out with electrical issues like this.

I wish you the best of luck.

Bread pan Capacities

Here is how you determine the size of loaf you can bake in your machine. You need to determine the capacity of your pan. Fill your pan with water and measure the cups added so you know how many cups of water are in the pan when it is full to the very top. Here are the conversions:

1)If your pan holds less than 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf

2)If your pan holds 10 cups of water you can make: a 1 pound loaf and a 1.5 pound loaf

3)If your pan holds 12 cups you can make: a 1 pound, 1.5 pound, and a 2.0 pound loaf

____________________________________________________________________

This is rare, but if you pan holds 14 cups or more you can make all the above plus a 2.5 pound loaf

Im happy to tell you I just ordered the same kneading blade for my RegalWare K6761 bread machine. I found it on ebay, here is the name you will enter when you do your search on ebay - breadmakerpartsemporium I wish you luck, I would love to hear back from you, to see if you had success. I was going to call you but it's 10:25 PM where I live and I didn't feel it would have been an appropriate hour for this kind of call.

Good luck,

It sounds like your belt is slipping. Yes, just like on a car! Bread machines use a belt drive and yours is probably slipping. Your choices are to replace the belt, or replace your breadmaker in my opinion. You might want to take the bottom panel off and look at your belt and see if there is anything obvious that you can correct. If you do that be sure it is unplugged.

I have them for sale for $14.99. There are 2 types. Can you or your friend email me a photo of the old paddle so I will know which one you need? I accept paypal at daryl441@msn.com if you decide you want one.

You could experiment by adding them in the beginning during the very first mixing phase. Raisins are pretty tough so I hope they won't get pureed by putting them in so early but at least they won't fail to get mixed in. If they do get pureed try putting them in just before the first knead or just after it starts. It may take some experimenting to get it right.
