4 blinks is usually caused by the power supply. For this model the power supply part number is LSEP1260ANHB. These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. First make sure that it is plugged and properly connected to the power source. If it's properly plugged in and you still don't get the red light, check the power outlet by looking at your circuit breaker. Make sure that the breaker supplying the outlet for your television is turned on. If not, reset the breaker by turning it off and then turn it on again. Bottom line is, if you do not have a red standby light, it is most likely that you are not getting any electric supply to your tv.

After changing the main board, you should have to update its firmware. Without this, it won't work properly. Changing motherboard is an easy thing, but the firmware update is crucial. The "Main" board or Control Board has the input connectors on it with the interface connectors that go to the other high voltage panels. Bottom right hand side looking from the rear of the TV. Why would you want to change that panel? The YSUS board is the usual faulty panel. 6 - 8 flashing lights.
