Have you searched along the task bar for the printer icon? Right click on this and it should present a list of documents for printing. Highlight the one you want to get rid of and then use the options to delete. Next try using Task Manager to get rid of the task. Finally remove the printer from your hardware in the Control Panel and re-instal. Hope this helps.

Dell does not offer a replacement for that broken piece.
So, your only choice is to replace the printer,
hopefully, with one that takes identical ink-cartridges.

This is a known issue with Dell all in ones.

It's a problem with the power supply inside the unit.

If you were in the middle of a print job, though, and it jammed, do recheck as I've been caught out
with a paper jam where a tiny partical of paper was doing the jam. Look carefully before contacting Dell support.

Hello,

Unplug the printer from the PC.

Uninstall the printer, reset the computer, install again the driver and connect the printer again, then configure correctly the fax.

Done.

Thanks.

Clean the carriage rail. This is the round chrome piece that the carriage assy that holds the cartidges rides on. Use a paper towel that is slightly moist.
Be sure to not force anything. Unplug the printer after you get the carts in the middle. Move them to one side and clean and then move them to the other and repeat.

Is it connected to a wireless network? They must be on the same network in order to connect. Do you have Bluetooth?

After you lift open the top, look below the shiny bar that the Print Head slides left/right on. You'll see a row of 8 tiny rollers. In between the middle two rollers (rollers #4 and #5 from the left), look for a small plastic tab sticking up between them. Touch this tab with the tip of a ball-point pen to see if it pushes down. If it does, then push the "checkmark" button on the control panel.

Hello, Richard.

Here's a solution from Dell Support:

Dell recommends you use a color cartridge and a photo cartridge for printing photos.
  1. Turn on your computer and printer, and make sure they are connected.
  2. Load paper with the print side facing up.
note-dell.gif NOTE: Photo/glossy paper is recommended for printing photos.
  3. With your document open, click File® Print.
    The Print dialog box opens.
  4. Click Preferences, Properties, Options, or Setup (depending on the program or operating system).
The Printing Preferences dialog box opens.
  5. On the Print Setup tab, select Photo, and then select the dpi settings for the photo from the drop-down menu.
note-dell.gif NOTE: To print borderless photos, click the Borderless check box on the Print Setup tab, and then select the borderless paper size from the drop-down menu on the Advanced tab. Borderless printing is only performed if you are using photo/glossy paper. The printout on non-photo paper contains a 2 mm margin on all sides.
  6. On the Print Setup and Advanced tabs, make any necessary changes for your document.
  7. When you finish customizing your settings, click OK.
The Printing Preferences dialog box closes.
  8. Click OK or Print.
  9. Remove each photo after it exits the printer to prevent your photos from sticking together or smudging.
Hope this helps.
