Yes, Yes, Yes..... You just got to open it up and peep inside.
If you think a piece of stiff cardboard would help to push things along then do it carefully. Don't touch the print head with either stiff cardboard or sharp tools.
I expect you've got it sorted by now.
Good Luck.

The expected power from the supply
is not being drawn. This error may
be caused by a power supply that is
faulty or shorted by some other 50
V device.

There is a problem with the 50V power. Probably a faulty or shorted power supply. In the worst case scenario you'll have to replace the electronics module.

Determine if the 7,010 fault code is being caused by something wrong in the printer. Refer to Service Bulletin 768. Some common causes are:
Ink in the rollblock from an ink overflow (in such a case the printhead may need to be replaced). Ink shard in the printhead tilt gear. Cracked/malfunctioning printhead restraints. Cracked drum maintenance cam. Stripped gears in the process drive assembly. Cracked left or right printhead restraint. Broken process drive mounting posts (repair using 604K55230 Post Repair Kit). Failing x-axis motor or motor drivers (x-axis motor can't maintain printhead's x-axis position) If there is no apparent reason for the 7,010 fault then flash the printer with a new version of the firmware. See Service Bulletin 777.

7,010.43:
The printhead is stuck in the tilted position or is not able to tilt forward to the print position, due to problems:

Has ink spilled ink around the printhead that prevents it from moving to its center position? You should be able to push the printhead right to left. Clean the printhead area. Is the printhead stuck to the Wiper Blade? Check the process drive gears for obstructions. Ensure the gears are correctly aligned and homed. Has ink spilled on the Head Tilt gear drive train? Clean the gears area of ink.

This fault code indicates a problem with the process control system. The machine cannot successfully home the transfix mechanism.

Check for obstructions around the printhead. Look for ink shards in the gears of the tilt drive. Check the printhead wiring harness to make sure it is not blocking the printhead movement (left/right & front/back). Remove the waste ink tray and look for ink build-up.
Check the process drive gears for damage. Ensure the gears are correctly aligned and homed. Check the nose cone alignment on the X-Axis motor. Is the nose cone aligned with the printhead shaft (left/right movement).

Xerox just gave us authorized service providers notice of this problem. You will need to have a service provider come out to fix it. What city are you in? We can help you if you are in South Florida.

Try cleaning the paper pick-up mechanism, the wheels and feed rollers and everything in the paper feed path with isopropil alcohol, available at most drug stores. It is also used for cleaning video recorders etc.

The problem could be with a sticking flag in the ink loader. If you look down the channels where the ink sticks slide you will see a small spring loaded flag, check that it is not sticking in the cyan tube. Check for any stray/broken ink or other debris that might be stopping the inks from travelling.
Alternatively it could be that the ink melt plate is faulty, the printhead calls for ink when it gets low, if no ink is melted into the well, the printhead informs the main board if the main board does not see a fault condition, it will report out of ink.
Unfortunately, the ink loader is not repairable and has to be replaced.

It sounds like you need to set your MFP to A4 Plain Paper instead of letter size which is the default setting.
