Tip & How-To about Apple iPod nano 3rd Generation

Delete Things off Your Ipod

To delete things off your ipod, there are two easy ways to do it. The first, is unchecking the boxes. They will still be on iTunes, but when you sync your ipod, they won't be on there. These are the steps:
1. Pull up iTunes on your computer.
2. Find the songs, movies, ect. you want to delete.
3. Uncheck the boxes to the left of the things.
4. Sync your ipod.

The second way, will delete songs off your ipod and iTunes. These are the steps:
1. Pull up iTunes on your computer.
2. Find the songs, movies, ect. you want to delete.
3. Right click and press delete.
4. Sync your ipod.

Either way, the things won't be on your ipod anymore, if you follow these four easy steps. I hope this helps.

i want to delete old playlist then add new

Open iTunes and plug in your iPod, select your iPod in the list to the side in iTunes. Now you'll see little tabs near the top of the iTunes window, click the one that says "Music." check the box that says "Sync selected playlists," now uncheck the playlist you are currently syncing your iPod with. Now, to create a new playlist look way down at the bottom left side of the iTunes window, you'll see a little button with a + sign, click it. Doing that will create a new playlist, now just drag and drop music into the playlist! Then go back to where you unchecked the playlist you were syncing your iPod with and select your new playlist.
hope this helps!

Uncheck (make sure there isn't a tick in the box to their left) or delete (if you want to get rid of them permanently) the files you no longer want on your iPod in your iTunes library then re sync your ipod and the tunes you have selected wil be removed from your iPod.
