I unsubscribed but they are still billing me a monthly validation fee

The reason they are doing that is because of the 'fine print' when you signed up. It is stated as this;



The Term of the subscription is the length of time that You have selected, which term will be automatically renewed unless You modify Your account or cancel. If You cancel Your subscription, You are NOT eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period. If You have pre-paid for a certain period of services (for example if You paid a lump sum for 6 months of service), You are NOT eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the pre-paid amount UPON cancellation.

This is their terms. You can cancel it, but you will still be charged the remaining term of your contract either way.

To request a refund, send the seller an email. Ask the seller to go to the Transaction Details page for your transaction and click Issue a refund.
You can request a refund up to 60 days after you pay for your item.

Just purchased the Max Extract 77 from Wal-Mart. We used it and the brushes would not turn. Called the 800 number and they could not help us. He stated we could take it to a repair shop or return it to...


Please read the back of your receipt.
I believe you have something like 15 or 30 days to return this type of item.

They have a fantastic return policy as long as you have the receipt, and make sure the stuff is back in the original box, and all the accessories are with it.

As soon as you walk in, a nice smiling lady will place a sticker on the item and point you to the Returns Desk.

That's it.

You will be refunded in the same manner you paid for it.

NB. Don't complain, and don't get too eager giving out unsolicited information.
When asked why you're returning it, answer: I does not work.
If asked what doen't work, answer: The brushes don't move or watever short answer is appropriate.

I don't have a problem with speedate.com I just can't afford the premium any longer! I have told my debt card service to decline any debits from my account from speedate!

My solutions.....
Hey SmileBox, you have a flood of subscribers that paid good money for you service. They have been posting for months for help with burning their project to a DVD and cannot.
Since you don't have anyone answering the technical support line for assistance on this issue. Quit being lame and either fix the web site or refund these people money back!

You can get answers for free (your question above was posted as a free question, and this is a free answer). Or you can pay for a premium service. If a paid-for answer is not helpful, I understand that you can get a refund or not pay, but I am not sure exactly how that works.
