When the laptop or PC is used, its processor and RAM gets heated. To keep it cool, a fan is used which circulates the air in the board. If there is no cooling system in the laptop, its circuit could be damaged by over heating. I think the fan in your laptop has malfunctioned or it is jammed by something. Turn over your laptop and try see if there is anything stuck in the blades of the fan. If there is anything, then take it out and then try to start your laptop. If there is nothing, then there is high possibility that the fan has malfunctioned. It would be better if you take it to service centre to get it repaired. Hope this helps you!!

It looks like for some reason BIOS isn't detecting laptop's fan spin. It may be because fan is full of dust that prevents it from spinning. It also might be that fan isn't working at all and needs to be replaced. Or might be that motherboard accidentally failed. First of all when you turn on your laptop take a close look at the fan at the bottom. If it's not spinning try to spin it with some long and slim object. If it's stuck, there is a good chance that laptop needs to be disassembled and cleaned properly. If it's moving free, then it might needs to be replaced. In this case I would suggest to give your laptop to someone who can do diagnostics

You need to plug in your CPU fan. The CPU fan is VERY important in that it constantly cools your processor, making sure your computer doesn't over heat. If the computer runs and the fan isn't running, the CPU will over heat and cost you hundreds of dollars.
Turn off the power Unplug your computer Open up the case of your computer Find your CPU fan Find the cord coming from it Find the plug on your motherboard labeled CPU fan Plug it in there Plug your computer back in Turn it on

Thinkpad T21 Boot Problems Problems

This is caused by a system board failure. Take the laptop apart again and check all of your connections. Also make sure the ram and processor are seated correctly. You can also try hooking up an external monitor to see if any errors display. This may be an indication that the video cable connected to the system board is not fully connected.
