SOURCE: My jandy LT heater leaks water out of the

I have the 250000BTU version but I believe they are the same in this regard.

It is far more likely to be simply that the low pressure detection copper line sprung a leak or is loose and perhaps dripping onto the limit switches. In and around the same area as the 2 hi-limit plugs is a small flexible copper tube (like for a refrigerator water line). Check that connection for a leak. The other end of that pipe is in the wire chase above the front panel. If you need directions on how to open either panels just ask.

Check your baskets for plugs or your filter may be dirty. The impeller may be clogged in your pump if your pump basket is set wrong or if it has any cracks in it. These will all drop the pressure to the heater.

Heater will not heat spa to more than 98 Heater is 2yrs old

could be a couple of reasons either your temp control is set at 98 or your temperature sensors in the heater are all corroted check the hi-limits on the right side of heater where your in and out manifold is its sitting directly on it underneath theres two silver flap caps with two screws in each replace those if there corroted or broke it also could be the temperature sensore inside the heater on the top right side open back of board and fallow the two black wires that are labeled sens its a brass probe with a rubber gasket that goes inside manifold where water discharges

Hi limit switch code,on a laars lx pool heater, I think there is a manual reset somewhere. can anyone help?

mine were corroded, but passed a continuity test. removing the corrosion opened a hole in one of the cases. $30/ea to replace (parts only). then i read how the brass 'screw' they contact with are prone to corrosion (salt pool), not listed in the parts manual, but are available as part# R0383200 (another $6/ea). not a happy jandy/laars/teledyne owner.

open the lower front door, then up on underside of panel are two screws/hex head. Unscrew these two screws and the upper panel will slide down, may need a gentle nudge. Near the middle left your will recognize your pressure switch.....
