Electric dryer..have heat on auto heat cycle, but no heat on timed cycle why?

If you have normal heat on Auto cycle, I have seen a few times that these new dryers channel the heat circuit separately through the timer for auto and timed cycle's. This isn't normal but you have a bad timer. But for any other readers this isn't a common problem generally the timer use's the same heat contact for auto and timed cycles, this is the exception.

Dryer does not heat at times and does at other times

There may be a loose connection in your wiring. Start at the receptacle and work your way into the dryer. Assuming this is an electric dryer, check to see if the elements are ok. But , I. Really think it is in the control switch. Do you get any heat AT&T all when it does not function properly. This will help me going forward.

My dryer is being heated but only for a certain amount of time. We set the time at 65 minutes, but it quickly drops to 30 within the time span of 10 minutes, and this causes the dryer to cool down.

Whirlpool mdl LER3634EW0 runs but no heat?

Normally this problem is caused by the heating element being faulty.
Sometimes can also be caused by the thermostats being faulty.
If it is an electric dryer (you did not say) then you could pull the back off and check in the dryer air tube, it comes from the blower assy to the drum of the dryer. That is where the heating element and thermostats are normally located.

Dryer dosn't heat up.

The heating element most likely failed and needs to be replaced. It cost about 25 dollars for it and you can do it yourself just remove the back panel unplug the machine and the wire have a adapter that can be removed by hand

Frigidaire dryer will not heat  runs/tumbles sometimes the heat works & sometimes it doesn't Mdl No. CRGR7900AS2

i am sending you all the possibilities for your problem, check either of these causes ----and than let me know if it is solved----

Power from the house
Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers--your dryer uses two fuses or circuit breakers. The dryer could tumble but not heat if only one of the two fuses is blown. If you have circuit breakers, one of the two circuit breakers can trip, even if the two for the dryer are connected.

Heating element
Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.

Thermal fuse
On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)

Wiring
A common problem is for the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, to burn and break its connection. Because the dryer can still tumble with partial power, the connection may be only partially defective. You may need to replace both the power cord to the dryer and the terminal block inside the dryer that the wire is attached to.
