This is problem with graphing differential equation. Invalid Axes error occurs if Axes=TIME or if t(time) is set as a CUSTOM axis. This is important to noticed: if Fields=DIRFLD you cannot plot a time axis. See captured image:

It could. If the x range doesn't include x=0 then the y axis will not show. Likewise, if the y range doesn't include y=0 then the x axis will not show.

You need to fix your graph so that it shows the correct y-axis and x-axis.

It works best if you press the zoom button and then scroll to find the ZoomFit option.

What probably happened is the graph was turned off.
to turn the graph back on, select the function (ex. y1) and then press f4. This should turn the graph back on and you should see the function.

I am not quite sure how the major axis of your hyperbola is directed and i do not know if the lengths you give are measures of the major and minor axes or the measures of the semi-major and semi-minor axes. So I am giving you the equations and the graphs so that you can decide for yourself what is appropriate for your problem.

The x intercept is where the value of y when graphed lands directly on the x axis. The value of y anywhere on the x axis is zero. The same is true for the y intercept producing an x value of zero. Go to your graph
press f1
go do to last option (format)
you can turn on your x and y axes there
