It there is not enough adjustment left to tighten the blade the frame is bent or you have the wrong blade.

Took the chain off for cleaning. Now I can't get it back on.

first of make sure the chain tensioner is all the way lose
also make sure the chain teeth on top of the bar are facing forward away from saw, do not over tighten, pull up on chain if you can see the bottom of the tooth come up out of groove on bar it is to lose
you should go to the site for your saw and down load a manual they are free and read it, if you do it wrong you can damage the saw but much worse hurt yourself or someone else...

I need directions on how to change the baldes on a reciprocating saw.

There are 2 types of clamps that hold the blade in that type of saw.

Since this one most likely has the type where the blade is held in place with a set screw and a "U" shaped piece of metal that holds the blade tight against the shaft. There should be a screw hole in the shaft of the saw. The blade rest next to the shaft and then the metal piece clamps the blade against the shaft. This is all held in place by a set screw that screws into the shaft. This screw uses a hex key to remove and tighten it.

If your tool doesn't have this style then it should have a twisting clamp. This will rotate and release the blade. Sometimes a pliers is needed to loosen the collar, but not to tight tho.

I bought my acer aspire 4736 last oct 2009,within a warranty period i found out that the unit I bought had a lcd monitor problem, then I returned it to the store where I bought it they fixed it by the acer...

It depends upon the situation of usage or might the lcd monitor that was replaced somehow crash again. Its must be a brand new one and at least for several months warranty,if ever need a replacement again and it turns into the same scenario, well some components need to be check cause everytime it replaces new lcd,it always crash.might some shortage takes place.

New Rancher 455. Ran for a few minutes then tried to tighten chain but adjuster was maxed out (completely tight clockwise). Removed cover, now can't get tension adjusting pin in hole in bar....pin sits...

Ok.. with the cover off the clutch you notice the screw and the pin that is suppose to go into the hole.. with the chain on the bar back the screw until the pin sits in the hole of the bar.. The chain should be lose you will see the chain dangle at the bottom of the bar.. put the cover back on with it lose.. hand tighten the two nuts that hold the cover on. with the bar in hand and you pulling the bar up make sure the two nuts are on tight enough so the bar does not move but dont over tighten it. tighten the screw you will notice the chain starting to move, and start to tighten up.. once the chain is in the grove of the bar grab the chain and move the chain with your hand to make sure you have not over tighten it. if the chain moves freely and is not lose ( you can also double check how tight it is by grabbing the chain below the bar and letting it go if it snaps back into the bar and doesnt hang there you are where you need to be.) tighten the two nuts up on the cover and start up the saw. Run the saw to make sure everything is all set and nothing is lose before cutting.. If the chain never get to tighten up you need a new chain. buy a new chain and follow the steps again. let me know if you have any questions

MBS 240/E proxxon bandsaw

the 24 TPI is the one to use. It sounds as if the blade is running to fast and over heating the blade and causing it to lose the temper in the balde steel. Try slowing the blade speed down if you can. Also you can try putting some cutting oil on the balde to stop it from clogging up. You can also rig up a small air line to blow on the cutting area to cool it down and remove the metal chips. I've also applied some wax to the blade every so often. A candle will work for this too. Hope this helps you, Jeepfxr

Balde movement up and down? If so, that would suggest worn bearings in teh gearbox. If they are worn there then they might also be worn in the motor. If this happens the armature will float up and down causing it to rub against the stator. You may be able to get the bearings sorted without needing any new motr parts. I beleive this saw uses an induction motor so beware if it does need replcing you might want to be sitting down when you get the quote.
