It sound that the problem is cause the water level switch. The switch level is usually a diaphragm device with a small clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. I am not familiar with this specific machine, but if you will open the rear panel you will find it easily. Clear tube first from any obstruction, In case it doesn't help, disconnect the wires from the unit (you should disconnect first machine's power cable !!!!!) and measure with a multi-meter on its tugs for continuity and disconnection while you are inhale and blow to its tube. In case it doesn't react, you should replace it. Good luck !

SOURCE: dishwasher

its either the element or the motor, check element for visible signs of damage then if ok remove wires from it and ( making sure to insulate them ) and run the machine if it works then the element needs replacing. and if it doesnt then its the motor.

SOURCE: why does my dishwasher trip our electric when we

There can be a possible short or an electrical leak- if ELCB is used- that seems to trip off the circuit. this can be a short in the main control panel which is the power section.
the ideal way to go about is to ISOLATE the circuit , so remove the control boarrd leads and check, then remove the outputs from the control board, check for leak from the board which will confirm the case.
Take precaution when checking with live circuit.

My candy CDI45 is not working, it just keeps beeping and saying E2. Any tips on getting it working again would make me a happy lady again.

Hi.

E2 is called water safety level error. Unfortunately the problem is often caused by either a defective pressure switch or by a defective control board. The problem is quite common in SMEG built dishwashers like your Candy.

All you can do is disconnecting power for a couple of minutes, by either tripping circuit breaker or disconnecting power cord. That will reset control module. While power is off remove water (if any) from the bottom of the appliance.

If that does not do the job the parts must be tested and the appliance must be repaired replacing defective part.

Regards.

Dishwasher trips out when 1/3 way through a cycle

by trips out do you mean shuts off completly?or do you mean it trips off the breaker? check the electical connections on the bottom right corner if this is connected properly then you have a control board or wiring problem and it might be better to call a technician

The door latch appears to be in the closed position and therefore you cannot close the door.

Candy cic 60 keeps tripping electric

take cover off fan and see if there is signs of water there. a common cause of tripping is that water is thrown up from the fan onto the element.

My dishwasher when switched on keeps throwing the trip switch

Try plugging into another socket preferably one that uses a different circuit. It could be a fault in the socket.
