Hi loadpacker-

sometimes printers have testy sensors that think there are paper jams when there are none. other times products can have tiny pieces of paper in hidden spots that take some finding to fix. here are a couple links that might help.

dealing with general paper jams:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&docname=bud09189&dlc=en&product=304535

general info for your model:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=304535&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us

general support docs (HP's support site) for your model:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/solveCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=304535&lang=en

hope this helps. I usually found that cleaning sensors helped, and using a good grade of paper. some cheaper paper is dusty and sensors are sensitive to running it. hope this helps a little.

Epson gt-1500 always jam

I'm a GT-1500 owner. The ADF was always jaming. The problem was very simple to fix : I had to disassemble the ADF and tighten the little spring located on the "end paper detector".

You'll need 15 minutes and a Phillips screwdriver to fix it.

Paper Jam cleared but?

It sounds like the paper sensor in the paper try is broken or jamed. Remove the paper tray and locate the paper sensor. Check if it is jamed in the up position or if it is broken.

Paper jamed

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Perform the steps below in order to solve this incidence:
  1. Disconnect the power cord or power supply adaptor from the rear of the HP All-in-One product.
  2. Remove the paper pack remaining in the input tray.
WARNING - Do not try to remove the jammed paper sheet yet. Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the device can damage the print mechanism. Always clear paper jams through the rear access door.
  1. Open the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.
  2. Gently pull the jammed paper sheet out of the rollers.
  3. If the paper tore when it was being removed from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might remain inside the device. If not all the pieces of paper are removed from the device, paper jams are likely to occur again later.
  4. Replace the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.
  5. Restart the printer to continue the current job.

Frequent jam in Lexmark E232

This can happen a lot if you're using very light weight paper.  Also, if the paper is not flat it can jam up too.  Best thing you can do is get yourself some higher quality paper and keep it in a air tight tub after you open it.
