Question about Aloha Housewares (93645) Ceiling Fan
I have a Aloha Breeze Ceiling fan, Model 29081. The switch broke on the fan. When I went to replace the switch, I found that the switch had came apart. The fan was working when I took the switch out. On the switch the wires work hooked up as follows. L=orange, 1=yellow, 2=purple and 3=black. When I installed the new switch, the fan would not work. The fan would hum on the second or third pull. I like the fan. Can you please help me with solving the problem on why the fan will not work with the new switch?

If you need the info for replacement parts, respond and I will send it to you. I have the same switch you do with same exact wiring. The Shine Top LS-102 is what you have and I just purchased a perfect replacement when 4 previous switches were incompatible.
