Question about Fisher and Paykel 24 in. DD603H W Built-in Dishwasher
My mother-in-law went to use her 18-month old Fisher&Paykel DD603i (with integrated cabinet drawer fronts) bottom drawer on Thanksgiving, but it started beeping and showed an error with the motor. She usually just uses the top drawer, since there are only two people in the house. From what I can determine from looking around the FixYa site, this system uses a magnetic system to turn the impeller? Is that correct?
From the messages I've read, it looks like someone here may have a service manual for this unit? If so, would you be kind enough to forward it to me also?
My mom-in-law would greatly appreciate it, and I could probably get an extra slice of leftover pumpkin pie!!
Craig, we had virtually the same situation. The repair man came and it took 2 minutes to fix. The problem was that the bottom drawer had not been used for a couple of years and thus the impellor had jammed. to fix it take out the basket, lift off the rotor arm and unscrew the knob. Then just work the impellor around with your fingers until it frees. It then worked perfectly. We will use the bottom often from now on to prevent this happening again. By now the left over pumpkin pie will be a bit green!!

F2 means that your rotor isn't moving properly and will need to be
replace or it needs to be removed and check for something blocking it.

Thanks jscrim! I just had the F2 problem with my Fisher&Paykel and fixed it as you suggested which is to unscrew the knob under the rotor arm. You made my day!

Thanks from us too jscrim... bought a F & P dish drawer second hand. The people said they hadn't used it in about 4 years. Immediately after installing we got the F2 error. Used your solution above and its working like a charm. 2 loads done already! Saved me getting out a repairman...
