Pictures on the memory card won't download to my computer

    Need to know what type of computer (PC/Apple) and, if PC, what version of Windows (eg Vista). Are you connecting the camera to the computer via cable or inserting the memory card in the computer directly? This will get us started.

    There is no slot for the memory card to connect directly to the computer, so I use an adapter which works perfectly well with other cards. (SD)

Ok try this for you to determine if your memory card is defective or not, try to insert your card to a device that support the type of memory card you have. Then if it still doesn't work i assume your memory card is defective. But if the memory will work try to insert other memory card on your camera for you to determine if your camera memory slot has a problem. Computer isn't recognizing my Samsung PL120- Instructions have read that if you connect the camera via USB the program should automatically install. It doesn't. If i look under removable devices...
Use a card reader. Since your computer has a USB port, you can get a card reader that reads SDHC cards. This is exactly how I do it on my computer.
