Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
Got ez eyes keyboard for poor sighted husband. His toshiba does not recognize it. anything I can do to fix it?
Unplug the keyboard, go to the manufacturers website and download and install the drivers, plug the keyboard back in.
If that doesn't work
check your device manager and see what keyboards are in the keyboard section. delete anything but the hid keyboard device and the standard ps2/2 keyboard from the keyboard section. repeat the first set of instructions
if that doesn't work either
take the keyboard back it is most likely faulty

The hard disk may fail completely sometime in the near future OR it is not making proper connection to the motherboaed.
Try removing and inserting the hard disk to ensure a proper connection to the motherboard and if it still causing intermitten problems, then back up your data ASAP and prepare to replace the hard disk when it fails completely.

The keyboard is made that limited to no service can be done, replacement of the entire keyboard is required. Short term solution is use external keyboard if available.

Tips for a great answer:
I know what you mean. I am also far sighted and hate the way my eyes look huge in every photo of me. Now there is a new type of lense called aspheric lenses. They don't magnify the eye as much as now it's the only type of lense that I'm willing to buy.
