SOURCE: In My sansui k2k21 flat tv showing red colour more

you do not have a CRT in your flat panel set.. What you might have is your color setting to high causing the bleed or your
T-con board is bad , but first turn down your color if that does not do it have a tech replace your
T-con board

This will be quie difficult to obtain unless you can try to look for old spares from service shops. Other wise you need to remove the LOT and check if a replacement type similar is available to match the windings.
finally the last hope is the Sansui service center

The "Line Output Transformer" supplies about 8 Thousand Volts at 15.625 KHZ in the UK. The 8KV is passed through a "Voltage Trippler" circuit providing approximately 25KV.
The Trippler uses diode capacitor, diode strap and capacitor filter pump circuit.

Oster microwave OGB81103 does not heat

Hi Kathy.
this is what i found from the internet.
Usual problem with microwaves not heating would be busted diode form the high voltage capacitor to the chassis. In some models, there is also a fuse from the transformer going to the high voltage capacitor. These two parts are the cheapest that you can replace. If the unit would still not heat up, then the next in line would be the magnetron or the high voltage transformer which is no longer worth to replace because of its price. They cost almost near the price of a new unit.

Just be careful on working with microwaves. They do store high voltage even though they are un plugged for a long time. Specially the high voltage capacitor that you need to discharged first by shorting the two terminals with an insulated screw driver and shorting both terminals with the metal tip.

Westingtnghouse microwave not heating. What could be the problem.

It is likely the Magnetron is burned out, this is the most expensive part of the machine and is what produces the high energy microwaves that cook the food, money wise I would just replace the oven.

How do I replace the transformer?

#1turn high voltage off to the unit service disconnect or at your panel box.there will be two wires comeing out one side of transformer. And could have four out other side .I dont know what t-from. You have .take notes and pic with your phone if you can there should only be two wires for your low voltage wireing and two for your high side.on high voltage side it will show you one wire as common usealy its white than pick other color for what voltage you have going to unit 110 or 240 volt s.the old t-from should have wireing diagram on it .cut wires by old transformer just cut wire at wire nuts leavening color of wire and wire nut so it stays with wireing to old transformer at this point hopefully you should be able to follow what wire goes to wire on transformer. If you have any extra high voltage wires just wire nut them separately only useing two.I hope this helps without seeing t-from its hard to be exact but just be very aware of what wire goes to t-from and you will be ok .note dont go by color sometimes color s will be different on each t-from

Where is the flybac located in a rca hd52w59

Flyback transformer other wise called Line output transformer {LOT} is actually a step up transformer, which supplies extra high tension voltages to the guns. It can be locatee on the main printed circuit board. 2_7_2012_5_19_59_pm.jpgJust see the different views of the main board of your RCA TV. You can see the flyback transformer at the left top corner, look like a large black componen; with a ferrite "U" type core goes though it. It is the LOT. Line Output Transformer, otheriwse called as Flyback Transofrmer. OK.

Screen does not switch on at all , and no sound either. However standby light is on only when plugged. TV repair told me it is transformer and line up, however asking for more then 100...

Hello, most common faults, such as CRT TV will not turn on. The reason stems from the low power supply failure, or from the high power supply. There are two transformers suppliers, with more common high-tension transformer goes bad. Price of 80 or $ 100, sounds reasonable replacement of transformer. Along with this need to perform some tests that require a professional, to confirm that the problem is due because of transformer. One test is to test basic stability, voltage power reaching the high-voltage transformer. If lower than normal voltage. Then perform the same test, when you break the initial snap of the transformer. If the voltage rises to the desired level must be to replace the high voltage transformer. Good luck!

A powerful storm blew my neutral wire connection off, up by the roof. It fried the washing machine's transformer. A capacitor next to the transformer looks like burnt toast. I wonder how much more damage...

You will need to replace at least the circuit boardin the washing machine. When the neutral come loose the voltage usually gets low on one side of the panel, and gets very high on the other side, and this high voltage has destroyed the circuit board, and transformer. As to the price of the repair, i feel like it would cheaper to repair than replace.

My GE spacemaker microwave makes an awful sound and has smoke with a terrible smell coming out of the vents. The clock and everything seems to be okay. Can this be fixed:

might just be magnetron and diode and thats not to terrible cost wise but if the smoke is real heavy the transformer may be burned as well and its not worth it then. mag & diode price with labor should only be $150-180 and add on an extra $120 for transformer

Ct32g19j blurry picture. out of focus, text is unreadable especially noticable at the corners

Firstly how long have you had the TV? as poor focus can be a sign of the tube showing it's age. Try removing the rear cover & on the line output transformer which is on the right hand side of the chassis & has a high voltage cable coming out of it which connects to the CRT, you should see on the body of the transformer two controls, one is for the focus & the other is for adjusting drive to the tube ( the brightness level will change). Try adjusting the focus one way, if this makes the picture worse then adjust slightly in the other direction. If this dosen't cure it the feed resistor for the focus may have gone high in value or as stated before, the CRT is at fault.
